Personal Creative Projects

Dara’s first experiences with the product creation process were working as a production sewer. Understanding the manufacturing process has been a critical part of informing how she to builds strong working relationships with designers, developers, and factory partners. Additionally, she grew to love tinkering with and building her own gear. Overall, sewing is one of the key ways that she expresses her creativity.

    Designed and built bougie / hip AF bike panniers for cruising around town.

    Can hold a 6-pack, lunch, and any extra clothes you need.

  • Custom backpack

    Modified design and built this custom backpack (have used for years as my work backpack!)

    Key features: two water bottle pockets, two main body adjustable straps.

  • First Aid Kits

    Designed and built custom first aid kits for Aerie Backcountry Medicine.

    Key Features: elastic daisy chain to organize and contain key items.

  • Over-engineered tote

    Designed and built. Handsdown the most useful thing I have ever made.

    Can hold all your ski sh*t, bike sh*t, groceries, etc.
