Outdoor Professional
Dara has worked in a breadth of roles as an outdoor professional. Her years of experience in these roles taught her the importance of having gear and equipment that is thoughtfully designed and built to endure long days outside. These skills have additionally taught her invaluable lessons about risk mitigation, resource management, and improvisational problem solving. These skills relate back to everyday-life and across her professional pursuits.

Taught wilderness medicine certification and licensure courses including Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician. Students included outdoor industry guides, U.S. Forest Service & National Park Service employees, search and rescue professionals, & Air Force Pararescue teams. Side hustle from 2013-2022.
